I’m a southern woman living in a northern land; the only girl in a family full of boys; an articulate and social introvert; and a practical spiritualist. I never really felt like I fit in, yet I tried to – my whole life. Though I was highly successful in my 20+ year corporate career, I suffered half of those years with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia – that was a sure sign that something didn’t quite fit.
I have found a calling that fits: creating space for the person to come forth more naturally into their work and into their service to their community. I have a special gift of seeing themes and showing people their natural strengths and tendencies. I then show them how to leverage those in their lives by teaching them soft skills and specific processes to be heard and make a bigger difference in their lives and work.
Mindful and creative-thinking people hold a special place in my practice, in part, because I am one. I understand the overwhelm and energy drain of the demands of business today and I can help them navigate it well.
My 20-year management career was service-filled: It includes restaurants, retail department store, insurance, chemicals, wellness, and pharmaceuticals. My positions have spanned management, human resources, training, operations/administration, and sales. I hold an undergraduate in Business Administration with a management emphasis – and a Master of Business Administration with a marketing specialty. I also earned a coaching certificate from Coach U and a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from HRCI, which harmonizes my practical business education with a deep understanding of human behavior.
None of that formal education, however, truly prepared me for the trials of entrepreneurship. I teach from my experience, the good the bad and the ugly, which brings a refreshing perspective to the business world today. Now, almost 10-years into my entrepreneurial journey, I embrace the evolution of my gifts, talents, and abilities and regularly bring new concepts into my work with my clients.

I’m addicted to popcorn (organic, stove-popped, with butter and sea salt) and I enjoy good dark chocolate and red wine. I can be found tooling around the East Coast in JOY, my Spice-Orange, MINI Cooper Convertible, or wherever there is social dancing or acoustical music.
